ICC in NW Branch
The ICC in the Northwest Branch
These pictures, taken on April 1, 2009, are unfortunately no April Fool's joke.

01
It's spring in this wooded wetland. The skunk cabbage are just coming up.
02
Little does this sprout know how greatly its life is about to change.
03
Enough forested wetland has been cleared and covered with gravel to admit some very large equipment.
04
The graveled road extends from Bonifant to the stream, where iron support beams for a service bridge have been laid across.

05
The bridge at present is just two beams. The decking waits nearby.
06
Orange fences go far up the hill on the other side of the NW Branch, marking off the broad area to be cleared.
07
Enormous screws for boring holes for bridge pilings?
08
The bridge from the hill on the other side of the NW Branch.
