Piney Branch Site
The fall 2010 Piney Branch site was a great success once again. I was not expecting a large turnout, but we ended up having 12 volunteers show up plus myself. When we first arrived, the hill behind the parking lot was covered in trash. We managed to clear the first 30 yards of the entire stretch of hill, and then worked to clean up whatever else we could. Our crew ended up filling over 30 bags of trash and picking up a number of other items. Our interesting items included an office chair, car parts, a car battery, wooden pallet, bike tire, very old broken TV, basketball rim, and scrap metal and wood. Our crew worked very hard the entire time and I was extremely proud of the amount of work we accomplished. In addition to those pictured, our crew included Josh Miller, Neftali Hernandez, Azalia Hernandez, Kristen Brown, Holly Arnald, and Michette Robles. (Apologies for any misspellings.)

There it is--although not all 30 bags of it show.
